Solving Fence Running & Backyard Reactivity

Your session has expired.

Stop struggling with barking, fence fighting and a dog who cannot even hear you.
Get your garden back and a dog who actually feels safe in it.

Fence fighting, barrier frustration, barrier aggression. Whatever you call it, you know exactly what it looks like. The sprint to the fence. The explosive barking. The dog who was fine two seconds ago and is now completely zoned out.
You want it to stop, because
- your garden has become a war zone.
- you value your neighbours.
- you want to see your dog happy rather than stressed.
- you have other dogs and fence fighting can turn into redirected aggression.

But your dog is over threshold, their brain is offline, every strategy you've read about requires a window that doesn't exist.
And some days it feels easier to just let it happen.

Good news: this webinar will give you real strategies for helping your dog feel safe and relaxed in the garden.
You'll learn:

Why your dog explodes at the fence and what's actually driving it
How stress and arousal contribute to fence fighting
When and how to use management so the behaviour stops rehearsing itself
When and how to start training, and what to practice
Why what happens away from the fence matters just as much as what happens at it, and how to use that

Julia Hawkins, MSc, AdvDip (AAB Canine) Julia swapped classrooms full of teenagers for ones full of dogs. Honestly, the dogs listen better. With an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour and an MSc in Maths, she brings both expertise and rigour to everything she teaches. She helps families untangle behaviour challenges using clarity, kindness and play, and she makes it make sense even when your dog is losing its mind at a fence.

Barbara Paterson, PhD KPA-CTP Barbara holds a PhD in animal demography, is a Karen Pryor Academy certified training partner, and was handpicked by Susan Garrett as one of her master coaches. She went from studying animals in the wild to helping reactive dogs after navigating reactivity with her own agility dog. She blends science, sport and compassion to help high-energy, sensitive dogs and their humans build calmer lives together.
